PAPER WEAVING 2021

I began to explore paper weaving as Covid restrictions began, and returned to it with great abandon in 2021, as restrictions loosened. I love seeing what happens to color and pattern as I physically weave the paper or canvas.

THE PROCESS: The paintings shown here are each weavings of two paintings.

The landscape in blue and yellow incorporates a new painting with a recycled collage painting.

The coral and blue weaving incorporates two new paintings, one cut vertically and one horizontally.

The Black and White began as 2 paintings , both cut vertically.
