Mort and I married in 1973 and embarked on a 43 year marriage, raising our two sons and Mort's son from a previous marriage.
While volunteering and working professionally in the Jewish community and Women's health care, I continued to paint - mainly watercolor, often chronicling our travels.
When our oldest son announced his plans to marry, I was asked to create a Chuppa (wedding canopy). I took a silk painting class, made the chuppa and then went on to make many more items of Judaica, as well as teaching classes in silk painting privately and at the Cincinnati Art Academy.
